Am off to the US for a work trip next month and just wanted to check if
there's any reason why a Roku express wouldn't work over there?

US TV is fun for about one evening, in a car crash kind of way, but I'd
like to be able to watch something else at other times.

THanks. I'll have a more thorough look at the Roku forum.

Out of interest, was there an outcome?
Just wondering.

I found this from Roku:
https://www.roku.com/blog/stay-entertained-on-vacation-how-to-travel-with-your-roku-player

It's quite old, but official so am hoping it's just as easy as they say.
Lots of other sites say similar.

Did you take the Roku, and if so, did it work?

On my first trip to San Francisco, I checked into my hotel, and the
Public Broadcasting Service was showing back-to-back episodes of The
Prisoner. Great. But I had to go to sleep, I had a busy day to wake up
to.

I didn't in the end as bag was rammed and wouldn't have used it either as I
wasn't in my room long enough.

We'll never make a nerd out of you. The object of the exercise wasn't to
use the Roku to watch TV. It was to find out whether it would work away
from home ;-)
