I have a Vigor ap903 mesh node (along with a Vigor 2865ac as the
router/mesh root), I know for sure I'm using the correct username/password

the login web page is too clever for its own good (fancy animations with
css/js) to the point that login doesn't actually work.

normally I use firefox, but have tried chrome and edge

tried combinations of http/https and fqdn/ip address

tried disabling javascript

tried forcing no stylesheet

tried disabling my password manager and typing or pasting the
credentials instead.

Nothing gives an actual login error message, just dumps me back to the
login form, I know that I've had this before and found a workaround, but
I can't remember what that was ... anyone?

Try adding a single space at the end of the username or password or
both. Its surprisingly easy to add one and not notice.

Or the nuclear option factory reset it
